I've seen it with my own two eyes...

He can crawl. Mostly on the carpet, as that's where he seems to get the best grip, and still not all the time - he seems to have a hard time getting his second leg underneath him, so often his movement is more of a bum scoot/crawl combo. Nonetheless, he moves.

I'm pretty sure I see another tooth coming in, this time on the top. I'll let you know when it comes through! Here's a picture of the first (and only) tooth that's through so far:


I gave Beckett his first taste of cow's milk in a sippy cup today. He had it with his lunch. I just put an ounce or so in the cup and let him have it. I'm not sure he knew what to think!!

And the boy is obsessed with blueberries!!! I've been buying them lately as they've been on sale at the grocery store lots, and I swear he can eat 30 of them no problem!!!!! I cut them up a bit, of course, and he would just keep eating them if I would keep putting them in front of him!!

Oh, and one more thing...remember this post from a while back???? Well, Beckett proved it the other day...he officially hates pants:



I went into his room after a nap (it always seems there's a surprise waiting in there for me these days!!) and there he was sitting with his pants off!!!

Speaking of naps - they have been a challenge lately. His lovely pattern is gone!!! Now it's hard to know when to put him down for his first nap, and when you do, even if he's tired, he gets to a sitting position and then cries because he's so tired, but he's sitting up!! I went in this morning and laid him back down, but he was almost asleep sitting up I think - he was rubbing his eyes and his eyes were closed!! And we've had quite a few afternoons lately where the afternoon nap has not happened at all. I really miss the nicely scheduled naps and hope this returns to normal soon!!!
